Two people arrested by Escambia deputies for drugs, fleeing

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Two people from Santa Rosa County face drug charges, according to an Escambia County Sheriff's Office Facebook post .

A deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle of 34-year-old Joseph Brazzell early Saturday morning, but then led deputies on a chase on W Street in Pensacola.

Deputies later found the vehicle at Chimes Way Skate Park, where Brazzell fled, but was caught. Deputies say a search of the vehicle revealed more than 28 grams of Oxymorphone, meth, marijuana, mushroom and other paraphernalia.

Brazzell is charged with drug trafficking, possession of meth, fleeing from police, resisting without violence, marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license. He was booked in the Escambia County jail at 5:04 a.m Saturday.

A Lebanese army soldier who was earlier injured in an Israeli attack on a post in southern Lebanon has died, raising the death toll in the incident to two, the Lebanese military said on Sunday. A company affiliated with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones asked a federal judge on Monday to disqualify a bid by the satirical news outlet The Onion to buy Jones' Infowars at a bankruptcy auction, alleging fraud and collusion. The company, First United American Companies, which is affiliated with a Jones website that sells dietary supplements, was the only other bidder at the recent auction, offering $3.5 million. In a filing in federal bankruptcy court in Houston, a lawyer for the company asked the judge to declare it the winning bidder instead of The Onion.
