Tyler man sentenced to 50 years in prison for continuous sexual abuse of two children

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A man from Tyler was sentenced to 50 years confinement without parole on Wednesday after being found guilty of continuous sexual assault of a child.

According to the Smith County District Attorneys Office, Jorge Perez Sadierna, 37, of Tyler, remained "emotionless" when a jury sentenced him to 50 years in prison without the possibility of parole for the various types of sexual abuse over several years of his two victims, both of which were under the age of 14.

Experts from The Children's Advocacy Center in Tyler were invited to testify and educated the jury on the various tell tale signs of sexual abuse in children and the barriers that prevent victims from coming forward immediately after being abused.

The case was investigated by the Tyler Police Department and presided over by Judge Reeve Jackson.
