Which Married At First Sight UK season nine couples are still together? Fans left in shock after dramatic finale saw explosive endings for some partnerships
Have YOU got a story? Email After three months of love, drama, and tears, Married At First Sight UK came to a climactic ending this week as the final couples decided to stay together or move on. Experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling , and Charlene Douglas returned to screens in September to try and match up a new crop of contestants hoping to find someone to settle down with. As always, the hopefuls are coupled up based on science and sociology, with the brides and grooms then meeting for the first time at the alter. The newlyweds then face the challenges of married life, moving in together and seeing if they can form a connection with one another while taking part in weekly commitment ceremonies. Despite exploding arguments, sudden break-ups, and ongoing split rumours, for some the show has provided their perfect match, with one couple thought to still be together after the cameras stopped rolling... Alex Henry and Holly Ditchfield - still together Alex Henry and Holly Ditchfield are the only couple who are thought to still be together. The 28-year-old aviation operator from Birmingham and 29-year-old beautician from Huddersfield got off to a great start when they met at the altar, both declaring they were happy with the match. However, their journey became rocky throughout the process, with Alex expressing his preference to marry someone without children and also hinting he'd be open to swapping wives, as well as several explosive rows. Things came to a head near the end of the experiment after a huge blow-up during a commitment ceremony that led Holly to pack her bags and head home, leaving the programme. But, in a plot twist, the pair seem to have rekindled and have been posting each other on social media in recent weeks. This week, they posted on Instagram that they were on a road trip touring the scenic Yorkshire Dales. According to The Mirror, they were recently pictured getting cosy in Manchester and kissing in the street, seemingly confirming their romance is back on. Nathan Campbell and Lacey Martin - not together Nathan Campbell and Lacey Martin are reportedly not together anymore, despite being one of the only couples to make it through the entire experiment. The 24-year-old engineer from Somerset and Hertfordshire-based office manager, 27 were lucky enough to have a union that has been relatively plain sailing compared to some of their co-stars. However, The Sun reported this week that the duo secretly called it quits after filming ended. A source told the publication: 'Nathan and Lacey really tried to make their relationship work in the real world but it just fizzled after a while. 'The final vows were filmed in February and they were still going strong in April when the reunion was shot, but since then they have called in quits. "They were both sad it didn't work out, but sadly it wasn't meant to be.' Ross McCarthy and Sacha Jones - not together Sacha Jones and Ross McCarthy were one of only four couples to make it to the finale of the hit E4 series - but sadly split after filming ended. Ross, 32, told Sacha, 29, he had fallen in love with her following their TV wedding on the E4 show with the couple's marriage going from strength to strength during filming. Despite the former Miss Birmingham uprooting her life by moving from her hometown Walsall to Manchester in commitment to her marriage, Ross abruptly ended the relationship with little explanation. To make matters worse, Ross, who was the first deaf contestant to appear on the dating programme, went public on Instagram with his new girlfriend, to the shock of both Sacha and E4 producers. A TV source told MailOnline show bosses lambasted the father-of-one for his unkind behaviour in protection of Sacha, who believed their marriage would be long-lasting. An insider said: 'Sacha had an incredible experience filming Married At First Sight UK and she truly thought her marriage with Ross would work. 'She moved to Manchester to be with him but after just two weeks he went cold and ended their romance for good. 'Sacha was devastated and now watching their journey back as the show airs makes processing their breakup even harder. 'Producers weren't happy either... Ross gave away that he and Sacha were no longer together by posting photos with his new girlfriend – he had no problem flaunting his romance despite the fact it would hurt his ex-wife's feelings.' Sacha since confirmed her marriage is over as she put her iconic 'naked' custom made wedding dress up for sale on Vinted on Thursday. Polly Sellman and Adam Nightingale - not together Despite lots of arguments and drama, Polly Sellman and Adam Nightingale made it all the way the final vows, but decided to call it quits at the final hurdle. Viewers watched the combative couple sling insults during Monday's dinner party, with the career advisor, 28, branding her groom, 35, a 'f*****g narcissist'. Adam fumed: 'If you're going to frustrate me and moan at me all day, why would I want to come home and have sex with you?', before letting his chair crash to the ground as he got to his feet. Polly then hit back: 'You've led me on, you've f***** me about, and you've p***** me right off' before storming off. In the reunion episode, both tears and Prosecco were flowing freely as Adam restarted his feud with Polly. Polly returned to the dinner party and was immediately greeted by the girls who asked her what the status of her relationship with Adam was, with Polly revealing she had attempted to reach out and had been rejected. Adam revealed that Polly had been attacking him on social media with cryptic posts, was sharing screenshots of his social media in group chats and had been insulting him online. Polly tried to defend herself by suggesting the social media posts could be about other people, but when asked by Orson whether she had been with anyone since Adam, she refused to answer. The expletive-laden exchange led to Polly throwing a glass of red wine over Adam, drenching his face and blue suit before she stormed off. Amy Kenyon-Brown and Luke Debono - not together Latecomers Amy Kenyon-Brown and Luke Debono made it all the way to the final vows but savagely split in the last episode. The wedding planner, 27, ended her marriage to the prison education manager, 30, in savage fashion, by turning up to the final vows in funeral attire to declare their relationship is 'done, dead, and deceased'. She told him: 'I don't believe a word that leaves your mouth. I know my worth and you aren't worthy of me. This marriage is done, dead, deceased. I stand here in front of you today wearing black to mourn its death. RIP.' During the reunion episode Luke told the grooms that he had written Amy a heartfelt letter begging her to give their marriage another go. He explained that he had sent her a turtle brooch for her birthday along with the letter and asked her to wear the brooch to the reunion if there was any hope for them. But the former spouse failed to mention the contents of the letter he sent along with the gift. Instead, it was Amy who revealed what he had written during a conversation with several of the brides. She told them: 'In the letter it just basically said "I miss you, I miss waking up next to you and laughing with you. 'And then at the end it said "keep slaying, no regrets. But I actually I just have one regret - when you were in the kitchen cooking, I wish I had got down on my knees and terrorised your bumhole."' After sharing the shocking remark, Sionainn covered her mouth before saying: 'What?' and laughing in shock along with the other brides. Kristina Goodsell and Kieran Chapman - not together Despite initially seeming like a match made in heaven, Kristina Goodsell and Kieran Chapman kept viewers on edge on with their emotional rollercoaster relationship during the show. Cracks began to show, with one being that Kieran, 28, struggled with the fact that Kristina, 31, had PMDD and he didn't know if he could be there for her. During the Final Reunion Ceremony fans of the Channel 4 show were left 'sobbing' as the 'heartbreaking' finale saw their story come to a close. After watching their key moments back, Kristina said: 'You could see in our faces when we were crying how much it meant for us.' Kieran added: 'We both came into this experiment for the right reasons and I'm forever sorry that it hasn't worked. I never meant to hurt you.' It was revealed Kieran moved on from their marriage with another woman shortly after they left the E4 show. Addressing his relationship, Kristina told the experts: 'I didn't take it well. To hear so casually that he had been dating someone made me think, "what did it mean to him?" because it meant to absolute world to me.' Emma Barnes and Caspar Todd - not together Emma Barnes and Caspar Todd amicably called time on their marriage at the end of October, mid-way through the series. Emma, 31, was in floods of tears during the commitment ceremony as she told the experts she wanted to leave the experiment. Caspar, 34, who also chose to leave the show, agreed with Emma that they both weren't the right match for each other and kept clashing. Casper said: 'I was explaining emotional vulnerability to Emma and she snapped at me and said I don't know whether I like you enough. 'For me it was just like what are we working for? I felt I didn't deserve that comment. 'In the nicest possible way, I wanted to leave last week. I've put a lot of effort into this. I thought "you know what, if that's what she thinks of me, why am I here?"' Emma said: 'We go round in circles and I don't want to blurt out everything we've done to p*** each other off this week.' Sionainn Carmichael and Ryan Livesy - not together Earlier in the series, latecomers Sionainn Carmichael and Ryan Livesy dramatically quit the show after having an explosive argument over shoelaces. The pair entered the experiment just two weeks before and their wedding didn't get off to the best start, as the makeup artist, 29, began to get cold feet about tying the knot with the bin man. Sionainn broke down in tears as she admitted feeling uncomfortable because Ryan had shown a different side to him off camera, which reminded her of an ex. Explaining their decision to leave to the other couples, Ryan said their blow out had erupted over him tying his shoelaces. Announcing his departure to the other husbands, Ryan declared: 'I'm leaving boys. We've had a proper argument. He went on: 'I was trying to do my laces. I was trying to retie my laces and it was getting on my nerves. So Sionainn was trying to help me. So I said, "oh, just leave them, just leave 'em now". 'Then she said, "Oh, don't speak to me like that' and just threw the trainers on the floor. So I said, "What do you mean speak to me like that, I just said leave them." While Sionainn burst into tears as she recounted what happened to the girls, saying: 'I'm gonna go home. We had like a little fall out yesterday. And it was like, honestly over shoelaces. 'He just spoke to me really, really poorly. And I said, "Ryan don't speak to me like that. You're not going to speak to me like s**t". 'And it just flipped. He decided to tell me that none of his feelings had ever been real. He'd been faking it all. It was all a holiday romance for him.' Hannah Noburn and Stephen Nolson - not together Hannah Noburn and Stephen Nolson had perhaps one of the most rocky marriages of the bunch, which included a cheating scandal and multiple couple swaps. It came to light that Orson, who was married to Richelle, and Stephen's bride Hannah, 33, had shared a kiss on the last night of the couple's retreat. Meanwhile, Stephen, 33, also seemed to be developing a crush on bride Sionainn, who didn't feel the same way. As they sat down on the sofa to speak with the experts, Stephen explained: 'All I'm hearing is she's trying it with everyone's husbands. It's just making me completely check out even more. 'I will never deny the fact that our wedding day was special but no. Last week, before I wrote leave I was still in the mindset of "I don't think I can be the man you need". He continued: 'But my mindset is very much now, I don't want to be your man. I don't think you're in it for me, I think you're in it for... I don't know what the reasons are and why you're here. So for those reasons, I'm going to leave.' Agreeing to call it quits, Hannah chimed in with: 'I think this is probably my opportunity to try and leave this process as amicably as I can with everybody. 'As much as whatever's happened, happened, I do think deep down you are a good guy and you'll make someone happy. It's meant to be about marriage and ours hasn't worked so I am going to leave.' It was revealed in the reunion episode that Hannah and Orson went on a date, but there wasn't much of a connection. After the show ended, rumours also began to fly that Hannah was dating fellow groom Ryan - and they shocked viewers by arriving to the reunion together. A TV source said: 'The entire cast was left openmouthed when Hannah walked into the reunion hand in hand with Ryan. 'She had made a big point about her friendliness being taken the wrong way and how the female members of the group had misjudged her intentions. 'But after kissing Orson in secret and growing close to Ryan off camera, it seems some of the suspicions from her co-stars were accurate.' Orson Nurse and Richelle Cade - not together Orson Nurse and Richelle Cade packed their bags and left the experiment in week six after an extremely rocky and explosive marriage. Things quickly turned sour when Richelle, 48, accused Orson, 41, of bringing up 'sob stories' when he talked about his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him five years ago. The drama came to a head when Orson dropped the cheating bombshell, admitting 'On the last night of the retreat me and Hannah were speaking and we shared a kiss. There was a little connection there. I'm not going to lie.' Richelle then gave her verdict on the marriage, claiming she can sense 'desperation' from Orson and that he wants to stay in the process by 'any means necessary'. She angrily quipped: 'He saw an opportunity with Hannah to recouple and stay in the process. He jumped at it. You're an embarrassment to yourself at this point.' Revealing his decision, Orson announced: 'I feel like I was trying and trying and trying. It was just like squeezing blood from a stone. 'Just get me out of here please,' he swiped, after writing on his piece of paper: 'Leave now'. Richelle hit back with: 'Before I came into this process I asked for a strong, intelligent man who has a bit of integrity and I haven't found that in Orson at all. 'I find him quite weak-willed, you really aren't as sharp as you think you are. It's pretty obvious I think to most people that you're a bit simple. He definitely lacks any shred of integrity. 'So, one week too late, but it's obvious - leave.' Charlie Curtis and Eve Reid - not together Despite being branded fan favourites at the beginning after a successful wedding day, Charlie and Eve were the first couple to leave the experiment - and have both moved on in new relationships. Within hours of meeting Charlie, 30, made the shocking declaration that she might already be in love with her new wife, 31. However, after jetting off to Mexico for their honeymoon, things quickly soured as Eve declared she 'needed space' and opted to sleep in the spare room, despite the couple admitting starting off strong and admitting having sex together on the trip. Then, Eve refused to take part in a letter writing task, which was the final straw for Charlie. However, both women seem to have happily moved on, with a new girlfriend appearing in Charlie's TikTok videos, and Eve being spotted at the airport with a new partner.
