Whose car fatally struck Tywon Mills? Palm Springs police searching for driver in crash

PALM SPRINGS — Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver in an October hit-and-run crash that killed a 39-year-old man. Investigators found Tywon Mills dead at about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at Lake Worth Road and Corrigan Court, between Kirk and Davis roads. Mills was homeless, a village police spokesperson said Tuesday, Nov. 13. A motorist not involved in the crash saw Millis in the roadway and called police. Another witness reported seeing Mills walk back and forth from a nearby bus stop into traffic prior to the wreck. Mills' bicycle and backpack were found at the bus stop.Angler dies: There were no known witnesses to the crash. Footage from a surveillance camera showed a silver or gray SUV leaving the area, and police say it may have been involved.
