Winona Ryder and Partner Scott Mackinlay Hahn Hold Hands on Red Carpet at Venice Premiere of Beetlejuice 2

Winona Ryder and her longtime partner Scott Mackinlay Hahn stepped out at the Venice Film Festival .

The actress, 52, and fashion designer Hahn held hands on the red carpet for the world premiere of her movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice , a sequel to her 1988 film directed by Tim Burton .

Ryder wore a black floor-length gown on the carpet, as well as a matching black overcoat, vest and white shirt complete with a black bow tied in the front. Hahn, the co-founder of the sustainable fashion brand Loomstate, wore a classic black-and-white tuxedo to the premiere.

Ryder and Hahn met at the premiere of her 2010 movie Black Swan. She told Harper's BAZAAR in 2022 that he mistook her for Milla Jovovich and accidentally complimented her on The Fifth Element during their first meeting.

While the couple have been dating ever since, they often tend to keep their relationship private and did not make their red carpet debut together until the premiere of Stranger Things season 1, back in July 2016.

"We have so much in common," she told the outlet of Hahn. "We connected on so many levels. But it was amazing that he's not in this business.... I really did try to keep it quiet."

Ryder touched on their relationship briefly once more while speaking with Harper's BAZAAR in July 2024. " He's so great. He really is. I'm really lucky ," she said at the time.

Ryder and Hahn joined many of her Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast members and collaborators, including Burton, 66, Michael Keaton , Jenna Ortega , Catherine O'Hara , Justin Theroux , Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci , on the red carpet in Venice for the movie's world premiere.
