1 injured in stabbing, Huntsville woman arrested
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A woman has been charged with domestic violence after a stabbing early Thursday morning, according to police.
A spokesman with the Huntsville Police Department said officers responded to a domestic call at an apartment complex on Old Monrovia Road just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

When they arrived, officers found a man and a woman inside one of the apartments. HPD said the man appeared to have 'injuries caused by a knife.' He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is likely to survive.
After she was interviewed by HPD, 31-year-old Veronica Dolores Ford was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence – aggravated assault.
She is being held at the Madison County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
