AES working to restore power across Miami Valley

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The Miami Valley is finally seeing some much needed rain, but some are experiencing power outages as storms move through the area.

AES Ohio's Outage Map currently shows approximately 1,200 customers are without power, as of 3:30 p.m.

Even though Autumn arrives today it will still be hot...Any chances of rain in the near future?

Most of the outages are centered around Greenville in Darke County, with another large pocket of outages near Bellefontaine in Logan County.

According to the National Weather Service , rain will be moving through the entire Miami Valley this afternoon and into the evening. Some could see thunderstorms as the system passes through the region.
