Exeter Lions Little League, 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at
the Exeter Scout Home and Community Center. Nomination of officers and
elections will take place. All officers and coaches must attend. Meeting is

Five Points A.C. East End Basketball, 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at
the Silver Queen Restaurant, Scott Street, Wilkes-Barre. Nomination of
officers will be held. Parents, coaches and board members are urged to attend.

Wyoming Area Swim Parents Association, on Monday, Nov. 5, at the Secondary
Center. All parents are urged to attend.

TRYOUTS/SIGN-UPS/REGISTRATION

Catholic Youth Center Jr. Biddy Basketball League, is open to boys and
girls in second and third grades. Children use mini-basketballs and 8-foot
baskets. All participants are encouraged to register early. Registration
deadline is Thursday, Nov. 29. Games will be played on Saturdays. Cost is $45.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt. For more information, call the CYC at

Special Olympics Luzerne County Bowling training, is scheduled for 12:30
p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Training is open to athletes who want to compete in local, sectional and state
competition. Athletes must have a current physical on file with SOPALC or
provide one at the start of training. For more information or to register call

UPCOMING EVENTS



Berwick at Dallas Football tickets, will be on sale from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
today at the Dallas Middle School and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today at the Dallas High
School Athletic Office. The game begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Gates open at
noon.

Irem Temple Legion of Honor Clay Bird Shoot, will be Sunday. The annual
turkey shoot will be Nov. 18. Both events are open to the public. Beginners
are welcome.

Plymouth Youth Soccer, is accepting orders for banquet tickets. Those
interested should mail check and self-addressed envelope to PYS, P.O. Box 208,
Plymouth, PA 18651. Deadline is Nov. 9. Field clean up day is at 10 a.m. on
Saturday, Nov. 10. Volunteers are needed.
