Chipotle plans to open second Johnson City location

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Chipotle is opening a second location in Johnson City, according to the company.

A corporate spokesperson confirmed that Chipotle is scheduled to open the new location this fall.

The new Chipotle will open at 1801 W. State of Franklin Road, the site of a former Pizza Hut near a Kroger grocery store.

A "Chipotlane" drive-thru and pick-up lane will be featured at the new location, the spokesperson said in an email to News Channel 11.
