Clippers News: WC Rivals Come to Russell Westbrook’s Rescue, Open Doors For Nikola Jokic’s Dream

C.Chen23 hr ago
The ongoing off-season is bringing various surprises for the NBA world in the form of trades and acquisitions. LA Clippers star Russell Westbrook may end up becoming a part of the same since his franchise is reportedly "working on trades to move Westbrook" despite the fact that the player had taken up the player option presented to him. The Denver Nuggets is recently gaining traction as the next place that the player can call home, with lead scorer Nikola Jokic himself reportedly "pushing behind the scenes to get Westbrook to Denver". While there were complications dominating the potential trade, the same seems to have been solved thanks to the Clippers' Western Conference Rivals.

A few hours ago, NBA reporter Tony Jones took to his official X account to provide an update on the potential Russell Westbrook trade. According to him, the Utah Jazz are looking to trade off point guard/shooting guard Kris Dunn to the LA Clippers through the 'sign-and-trade' process. If the same goes through, then the franchise will have a new point guard in their roster, allowing them to cut ties with Westbrook and replace Dunn with him.
