Colder, breezy, and sunny weather in Acadiana today

Noticeably colder in Acadiana this Thursday morning as the entire area is feeling temperatures in the 50s along with a light breeze. Highs today should near the lower 70s under sunny skies. Northerly winds could gust over 20 mph later today, making for breezy conditions throughout the day.

Calming winds and clear skies will lead to even colder temperatures tonight as lows in Acadiana will fall into the 40s.

Potential Tropical Cyclone 19 formed in the Caribbean on Wednesday afternoon and is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Sara on Thursday. Hurricane Watches have been posted for parts of Honduras with Tropical Storm Watches in northern Nicaragua.
