Edwards County Courthouse closing early prior to visitation for Judge Michael Valentine

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Edwards County Courthouse will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

This was announced by the Edwards County Sheriff's Department. This is in reference to the visitation for the late Circuit Court Judge Michael Valentine starting at 2 p.m.

Valentine was shot and killed in his home on November 5 in Albion. His wife, Megan Valentine , is being charged with murder in connection to his death.

The House of Prayor in Albion will be the location for the visitation.

Funeral services will be held in Orland Park at a later date.
