Escambia County Sheriff’s Office celebrates Law Enforcement Training Academy graduation Class 24-02

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — The Escambia County Sheriff's Office celebrated 17 recruits last week after they completed ECSO's Law Enforcement Training Academy.

According to an ECSO Facebook post , the recruits took the oath of office on Friday, Nov. 8, and became deputies during the third graduation ceremony for ECSO's Training Academy.

Each recruit's badge was pinned by a family member or friend followed by the oath of office.

The post said each new deputy engaged in state-of-the-art coursework, physical training, firearms training and other aspects of professional law enforcement.

The new deputies were immersed in ECSO's culture, standards and policies from the first day of the training acdemy.

A judge recused himself Tuesday from presiding over Arizona's fake electors case after an email surfaced in which he told fellow judges to speak out against attacks on Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for the presidency.
