Letter: Neighbor's hate mail about Harris/Walz sign
My neighbors were talking about the letters to the Star about Janice in a northwest neighborhood, who got a hate-filled letter from an anonymous Trumper, because she put up a Harris/Walz sign. Our heartfelt support goes out to Janice.
Our neighborhood is the opposite of hers. Our streets are decorated with Harris/Walz signs, many of which I supplied. There is a single Trump sign in one neighbor's yard, and we would never say anything negative to him about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
In fact, my best friend in the neighborhood is a Republican. He and I play guitar, eat barbecue, and go to movies together.
We know that hate consumes the vessel that contains it. The Trumper who sent the hate mail to Janice is an antisocial sociopath. He will suffer the loneliness and isolation that only his hate can bring.
