Two people dead, two others injured in shooting in Elkton

ELKTON, Md. — A deadly shooting is being investigated in Elkton in the area of Elkton Road and Fletchwood Road, according to Maryland State Police.

Police say two people were killed and two others were injured. Troopers were called for reports of a man lying in the roadway just after 6 a.m. today.

Tamir Davis, 26, of New Castle, Delaware has been identified as one of the victims. The other person killed has not been identified yet.

The two injured people were taken to hospitals but at this time we do not know their conditions.

State Police have not told us what led up to the shooting or said if they've made any arrests.
