Long delays after burst water main in city centre

A burst water main is causing hour long delays to bus services and traffic disruption in Bristol. The A38 St Augustine's Parade Northbound is closed with queueing traffic along nearby roads including Baldwin Street, Denmark Street and Christmas Street. Inrix, the travel monitoring site, reports "Congestion to some routes around Bristol including the A4018 Park Street and the B4051 Park Row." Bristol Water has been contacted for comment. First West of England have warned about delays for up to an hour on bus services including the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 72, 77, and 55. Related Internet Links
