Man Accused Of Making Threats Against Pittsburgh School District

T.Lee1 hr ago

Dante Meadows, 25, is charged with terroristic threats, harassment and threats to use weapons of mass destruction, according to court documents.

In one call, Meadows allegedly threatened to shoot 10 kids. In another call, Meadows allegedly said he had a bomb and was "coming up there right now," according to court documents.

Police investigated the swatting calls and traced them to a residence in Braddock.

Court documents state that when police arrived to search the home, they noted that Meadows' voice sounded similar to the threatening calls recorded from the school.

Meadows denied making the calls. But a search of Meadows' bedroom revealed cell phones and computer equipment containing evidence that enabled police to trace the calls from his devices to the school.

Meadows is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.
