Man hospitalized after being stabbed several times in Northeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times in Northeast Portland Friday night, authorities said.

Just after 9 p.m., officers originally responded to the 9500 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard on reports of a shooting.

However, when the arrived on the scene, they found a man had been stabbed numerous times.

Officers gave trauma first aid to the man until EMS arrived and took him to the hospital.

Any possible suspect or suspects had left the scene. As a result, officials said no arrests have been made in this case.

Police said the man's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and he was successfully treated.
