Nashville real estate developer Bill Freeman has died
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville mogul and former mayoral candidate , Bill Freeman, has died, according to officials.
Among his accomplishments, Freeman was co-founder of Freeman Webb Company, a real estate investment, management, and brokerage company. In addition, he ran for mayor of Nashville in 2015 and was a former member of the Metro Nashville Airport Authority.
Multiple Tennessee officials confirmed Freeman's death on social media on Sunday, Nov. 17:
Tonight, we lost Bill Freeman. Bill was many things—real estate visionary, mayoral candidate, pilot, media magnate, staunch Democrat—and friend.
Our city, state, and nation are better for his tenacity and commitment.
We will miss him dearly, and my heart is with his family.
