Nurses assaulted at Danville hospital

Danville, Pa. — A psychiatric aide was assaulted by a patient at Danville State Hospital in Danville last month.
Cletus Cesar Rivera Jr., 23, of Danville punched the aide in the face twice on Oct. 4, PSP Milton Trooper Luke Hook said. The woman had a cut on her face with dried blood and was diagnosed with a concussion, Hook added.
Rivera is being charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment. No bail is listed for Rivera, who is facing similar charges in a separate case filed in Danville. He is scheduled to appear before Judge William Wilt later this month for a preliminary hearing.
