POLICE NEWS: Local police make arrests on various charges

Nov. 13—ARRESTS

—A 15-year-old was arrested by Goshen police at Goshen High School, 401 Lincolnway East, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, accused of possession of a TCH vape. The teen was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and released to parents after processing.

—A 45-year-old man was arrested by Elkhart County deputies at 3:31 p.m. Monday on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license following a crash near C.R. 20 and C.R. 3 in Elkhart.

—A 36-year-old man was arrested by Elkhart County deputies at 1:57 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Ind. 15 and C.R. 18 in Goshen.

—Bashor Children's Home reported to Elkhart County deputies at 12:14 p.m. Tuesday a juvenile student intentionally broke a window at the school. The juvenile was detained at the Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of criminal mischief.

SEX CRIME

—A 46-year-old woman reported to Goshen police at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday that an adult man entered her neighbor's home while a juvenile was home alone and is accusing the man of sexual misconduct with a minor.

—Elkhart County deputies received a report of a rape that occurred on Nov. 21, 2012, within the county.

—Elkhart County deputies received a report at 5 p.m. Tuesday of a sexual misconduct with a minor.

—A 28-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday that his 1982 Eagle Bombardier moped was stolen from the 300 block of Crescent Street.

—A 28-year-old woman reported to Goshen police at 4:47 a.m. Wednesday someone stole her vehicle from the 1800 block of Tony Lane.

—A 35-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 2 p.m. Nov. 6 and Sunday, someone stole several thousand dollars worth of power tools and equipment from a home in the 53000 block of Kershner Lane in Elkhart.

—A 44-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 5 p.m. Nov. 3 and 3 p.m. Nov. 9 someone stole his motorcycle from the 2600 block of California Road in Elkhart.

—A 26-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday someone stole a disabled 2018 Chevrolet Malibu near U.S. 20 and C.R. 13 in Elkhart.

—A 68-year-old woman reported to Goshen police at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday that someone withdrew money from her bank account.

—A 51-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 2:306 a.m. Nov. 6 someone committed fraud.

—A 44-year-old woman and 48-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies at 12:45 p.m. Monday someone committed fraud.
