Progress321 appoints Bianca De Leon as new executive director
EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) – The Progress321 Board of Directors has appointed Bianca De Leon, who has over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, as its new executive director, the organization announced in a news release.
"We are excited to welcome Bianca as our new Executive Director," Gabe Gonzalez, president of the Progress321 Board said. "Her extensive experience in nonprofit consulting and community engagement aligns seamlessly with Progress321's goals to connect and empower leaders in our community. We look forward to seeing her vision elevate our organization."
Previously, De Leon served as a nonprofit consultant with Zelie Consulting, leading initiatives in change management and strategic development, according to the organization.
As a former program officer with the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation, she managed a $3M portfolio, collaborating with community partners in Ciudad Juarez, El Paso, and Las Cruces.
"Her proven track record in fostering partnerships and achieving sustainable growth will be invaluable in her role with Progress321," read the news release.
"I am truly honored to join Progress321 as executive director," De Leon said. "Progress321's commitment to building a thriving, inclusive community in the Paso del Norte region resonates deeply with me. I am excited to bring my experience and passion to this role and to work alongside our Board, members, and partners to further amplify our mission."
De Leon officially assumes the role in November and will oversee all day-to-day operations, lead community engagement efforts, and drive Progress321's strategic vision forward, according to the organization.
