Prosthetic leg blamed for high-speed Lancaster County crash

CLAY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – A prosthetic leg is being blamed for a high-speed crash in Lancaster County on Tuesday morning.

Northern Lancaster Regional Police say a man was driving east bound on SR 322 when his prosthetic leg began lodged on the accelerator as he turned south on Sharp Ave.

Nittany Insiders The vehicle struck another vehicle before continuing south and crashing through a fence. The vehicle "launched" into a field and came to rest about 100 yards from the roadway.

The driver was taken to the hospital and no other injuries were reported.
