PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department is actively looking to expand its team. The county is currently accepting positions for deputy sheriff. The department's recruitment process involves several key steps – including background checks, physical fitness tests, and psychological evaluations. "Well, law enforcement work has a lot of responsibility attached to it. And we try to – it's a difficult lifestyle. The interview process we try to thoroughly vet people, to set people up with chances to succeed," said Sheriff Canaday.
