Resignations, hirings and other personnel news from Central DeWitt School District

The following personnel items are from the Oct. 21 agenda of the Central-DeWitt School Board. The School Board met at the Middle School Media Center, 425 E. 11th St., DeWitt, Iowa.

Licensed Personnel:

Resignation of Kayla as Assistant HS Girls Soccer Coach.

Recommendation for Hannah to continue as an Assistant HS Softball Coach.

Recommendation to hire Amanda as a Temporary Family Consumer Science Teacher at the high school, starting Oct. 28 through the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. Salary will be prorated to $35,250.00.

Support Personnel:

Recommendation to decrease the hours of Mary McCoy, General Food Service Worker at Ekstrand, from 3.5 to 3 hours/day starting Sept. 30. This is to fill an opening at Ekstrand.

Recommendation to hire Rachel as a General Food Service Worker at Ekstrand. She will work 3.5 hours/day at $16.70 per hour, starting Sept. 30.

Resignation of Jessica as a General Food Service Worker at St. Joes effective Oct. 8.

Recommendation to hire Kim as a Special Education Associate at the Intermediate School. She will work 4 hours/week starting Oct. 22, at $17.50 per hour.

Resignation of Irene as PreK Transportation Associate effective Oct. 17.

Recommendation to revise the hours of the Transportation Associates of Shawn Everett,
