Roanoke Police searching for suspect after Ferncliff Ave. shooting

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Roanoke Police are searching for a suspect believed to have shot and injured a man in Northwest.

Friday just before 10 p.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Ferncliff Ave. NW to find a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are now searching for 46-year-old Frederick Lynell Wiley of Roanoke who is wanted for Malicious Wounding.
