Single vehicle wreck blocks traffic outside Conway, damages sign and tree

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A single-car wreck outside of Conway has blocked traffic and left at least one person injured, authorities said Saturday.

Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to the area of Old Railroad Road and Singing Pines Drive just after 1:30 p.m. Officials said somebody was trapped inside the vehicle, which struck a sign and tree.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
