If you are a casual reader or an avid reader, this event promises to be a must-attend event for everyone in the Springfield community. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. there will be a Local Author Book Fair and a Library Book Sale.

The Local Author Book Fair showcases local talents across different genres including mystery, historical non-fiction, and poetry. There will be books for all ages, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with authors, discover new books, and get their purchases signed. The book fair will run until noon on Saturday.

The Library Book Sale will feature best-selling novels, timeless classics, chart-topping albums, and beloved movies. Everything is available for $5 per bag, and the library will even provide the bag. The sale runs until 2:00 p.m.

"We're absolutely thrilled to be bringing the Author Fair & Book Sale back for a second time this year! The response from our first event was incredible, with so many community members coming out to meet their local authors, discover new voices, and grow their personal libraries. We're confident that this event will be just as successful, if not more. It's a fantastic opportunity for book lovers of all ages to connect with the vibrant talent right here in our community. We encourage everyone to come out, meet our amazing authors, and find their next favorite read!" said Elizabeth McKinstry, Training & Programming Librarian.
