Mary A. Aiello, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, died Friday in Summit Health Care,
Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna
(Minkeuiciute) Balutis. She was educated in the Wilkes-Barre school district
and was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Wilkes-Barre. She resided in New York
City for many years, returning to Wilkes-Barre 20 years ago. Prior to her
retirement, she was a manager of Bickfords Restaurant, New York City.

Mary was preceded in death by brothers, John, George, Vincent, Benedict,
Joseph and Thomas Balutis.

Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Alice Mortak, Palm Coast, Fla.;
grandchildren, George, Gary and Alice; sisters, Jule Kadluboski, Eleanor
Petkoff, both of Hanover Township; Ann Yaskoweak, Nevada; nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home,

Church, South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Theodore Obaza, pastor,
officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
