Man smashes woman's car window with baseball bat

Westfield, Pa. — Police responded to a reported violation of a Protection from Abuse order in Westfield on Oct. 1

At the scene, the victim told officers that her ex boyfriend, Jeremy Woods, 40, of Elkland, Pa., had contacted her by phone earlier in the evening. Woods then allegedly came to her home on Church Street later, attempting to talk to her.

The victim said he took a baseball bat and began smashing the back window of her vehicle.

Police located Woods and took him into custody. He was charged with violating his PFA order and criminal mischief.

Woods was jailed and faced a preliminary hearing on Oct. 17.
