Overnight rain made for a damp morning for the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 66 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. Overcast skies lingered overhead, and the humidity of 90 percent made it feel like a particularly sticky morning.

Showers are likely today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — otherwise, cloudy skies will linger for most of the day. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected. Today’s high will be in the upper 70s.

Skies will clear tonight, with the low reaching the upper 50s.

Sunny skies will return to the Wyoming Valley tomorrow, followed by increasing clouds on Friday night. Friday’s high will reach about 80 degrees, and the low on Friday night will be in the lower 50s.
