MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Baptist Church, 865 Church Road, is hosting the annual Resurrection Workshop, a free arts and crafts workshop with an Easter theme, from 10 a.m. to noon on April 12. Children ages K-4 through sixth grade are invited to the workshop. A take-home project will be created and the workshop will conclude with a puppet show.

MOUNTAIN TOP: Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 7768 Blue Ridge Trail, is offering supper and worship on Wednesday evenings during Lent. A light meal will be shared in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m. and the church service will begin at 7 p.m.

NANTICOKE: The First Primitive Methodist Church of Nanticoke, East Church and Prospect streets, is holding a children’s fun fest from 6-7 p.m. on Monday All children ages 4-12 are invited to join in learning the Bible through stories, games, music and crafts.

PLYMOUTH: First Friday Group Assumpta Council 3987 Knights of Columbus will attend the 9 a.m. Mass on Friday at the Church of All Saints, Willow Street. Rosary recitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will take place at Ollies Restaurant, Edwardsville, after the Mass. Reservations can be made with Chet Daniels at 570-696-2096.

SCRANTON: The Scranton Diocesan Council of Catholic Women are hosting a brunch on May 4 at St. Mary’s Center, 320 Mifflin Avenue. A Mass will be celebrated prior to the brunch at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Avenue. The guest speaker will be John Horvath II. Tickets for the brunch are $20 per person. WILKES-BARRE: The Rotary Club of Wilkes-Barre is hosting the Bobby Lewis spaghetti dinner from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Genetti Hotel and Conference Center, Wilkes-Barre. Proceeds will benefit the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Tickets can be purchased from any Rotary member, at the door or by calling 570-560-8974.

WILKES-BARRE: The Bishop William J. Hafey Fourth Degree Assembly Knights of Columbus will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church hall, 134 S. Washington Street. Wilkes-Barre Council 302 will host the meeting.

Nominations of officers for the next fraternal year will be held at this meeting and all fourth-degree knights are asked to attend. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.
