Anna S. Waskie, 91, of Calvin Street, Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, died
Tuesday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Oct. 10, 1910, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph
and Helen (Grabowsky) Snarski. She attended Wilkes-Barre schools. She worked
at the Hotel Sterling. She was a member of St. Dominic’s Church, Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sister, Betty Dennis; and
brothers, John, Alfred, Anthony, and Edward.

Surviving are daughters, Germaine Maciejczyk, Shavertown, Kingston
Township; and Ruth Wojcik, Wilkes-Barre; one granddaughter; two
great-granddaughters; sisters, Helen Coolbaugh, New Market, Md.; and Bertha
Drutchal, Wilkes-Barre; and brother, Joseph, Wilkes-Barre.



The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the E. Blake Collins Funeral
Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St.
Dominic’s Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton,
Kingston Township. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
