nna Zajaczkowski, 94, of East Sidney Street, Miners Mills section of
Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at the Inpatient Care Unit of the Hospice Care of
the VNA at Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Valentine and
Catherine (Motyka) Mazurkiewicz. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul
Church, Plains Township, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and daughter, Violet
Polachek.
Surviving are her sons, Charles V., Wilkes-Barre; and Edward J., Plains
Township; daughter, Stella Szymanski, Wilke~s-Barre; nine grandchildren, 15
great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Mark V. Yanaitis
Funeral Home, 55 Stark St., Plains Township, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at
SS. Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka
Cemetery, Plains Township. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial
