Antoinette Dombrowski

ntoinette J. (Wendrychowicz) Dombrowski, of Church Road, Mountaintop,
formerly of Plains Township, died Sunday at Hospice Community Care, Mercy
Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and
Margaret (Majcher) Wendrychowicz.

She was educated in Plains Township schools.

She worked in the local garment and tobacco industries.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township, and its
Mothers Guild, and the St. Jude’s Rosary Makers.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Peter; sisters, Mary
Antosh, Sophie “Kem” Wender, Genevieve Wender and Rose Pilarcik; and
brothers, Paul and Stanley Wender.

Surviving are her sons, Paul, Mountaintop, with whom she resided; and
Ronald, Ashley; daughter, Lillian Reedy, Zion Grove; sisters, Anne Stanski and
Helen Shedlock, both of Plains Township; brother, Joseph Wender, Thousand
Oaks, Calif.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces
and nephews.



Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Michael J. Mikelski
Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9:30 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains Township.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
