‘Defective fire pit’ sparks fire at Mark Wahlberg’s Las Vegas restaurant

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A fire pit sparked a small fire at Mark Wahlberg's Flecha Cantina Thursday night, a source tells FOX5. A restaurant representative says the "defective" pit caused a small fire in the patio area, which resulted in minor damage to the pit itself and a chair nearby. However, firefighters arrived to put out the flames, and the restaurant reopened around 7 p.m. The rep added that there was no damage to the interior of the restaurant. FOX5 has reached out to the Clark County Fire Department for more details on the investigation into this fire, but has not yet heard back.
