Gusty winds and the chance of snow showers for parts of New Jersey on Tuesday will feel more like late January than late November, according to the latest weather forecast. While accumulation of more than a few tenths of an inch is unlikely, the National Weather Service said that there’s a 30% to 50% chance of snow showers in northwest New Jersey with a lesser shot along the Interstate 95 corridor and into central New Jersey. Slick roads, especially, along the Interstate 80 corridor in northwestern New Jersey are also possible. “While areas within the I-95 corridor and parts of western New Jersey can see some flakes, not expecting any measurable accumulations,” the National Weather Service said in its morning forecasts discussion. Wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph are expected Tuesday in and around New Jersey, according to AccuWeather.com.AccuWeather.com Everyone that sets foot outside, though, will deal with temperatures that only reach the mid to upper 30s under cloudy skies. Winds that gust as high as 30 to 35 mph will make it feel considerably colder, forecasters say. There won’t be much relief from the cold tonight, although winds are expected to die down. Lows are expected to drop into the 20s. Wednesday will be sunny and brisk, but not nearly as frigid as temps reach the upper 30s to low 40s. Nighttime temps on Wednesday will dip into the mid 20s. Temperatures rebound to normal on the last day of November on Thursday with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s on another sunny day. Snow flurries are possible on Tuesday, primarily in the northern part of New Jersey.AccuWeather.com Forecasters are eyeing the potential rain on Friday. It won’t be anything significant with a half-inch or less expected, the weather service said. Highs will reach the low 50s.Current weather radar
