Bernadine C. Kelley

Bernadine C. Brislin Kelley, 82, of Okeechobee, Fla., and formerly Lee Park, Hanover Township, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Raulerson Hospital, Okeechobee, where she was a patient.
Born on Sept. 19, 1930, in Peely, Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Dennis J. and Stella Rydzewski Brislin.
She was a graduate of the former Hanover Memorial High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College.
Bernadine married Robert Kelley on June 9, 1951, in St. Aloysius Church. He preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1997.
Mr. and Mrs. Kelley maintained a residence in Florida for many years and moved there permanently in 1996. She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke, and had been a member of St. Casimer’s Church, Lyndwood, prior to its closing. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Church, Okeechobee.
In addition to her husband, Robert Kelley, she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Surviving is her son, Patrick Kelley, and his wife, Sharon, Nanticoke; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Kowalska Parish / Holy Trinity Church, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
