Mary Obremski

Mary Obremski, 92, of Plains Township and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2011, at Riverstreet Manor Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen (Katchmar) Yateshin.
Mary was a homemaker all her life. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains Township, and currently a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Plains Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1991; sisters, Ann Klimchak and Rose Keris; and brothers, Peter, John and William Yateshin.
Surviving are her sister, Helen Olga Florio and her husband, John, Plains Township; and several nephews and nieces.

be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Plains Township. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
