Anna (Shedlarski) Hoosic, of Clinton Street, Swoyersville, died Sunday at
the Highland Manor Nursing and Convalescent Center, Exeter. Born in Austria,
she was a daughter of the late George and Tekla (Plack) Shedlarski. She
resided most of her life in Swoyersville. She was a member of Holy Name/St.
Mary’s Church, Swoyersville, and a past member of the Sacred Heart Society of
St. Mary’s Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and
brothers, Joseph, Stanley, John, Walter, Frank, Andrew and George. Surviving
are her sons, John and Thomas, both of Clinton, Ohio; daughter, Bernadine
Heiser, Swoyersville; sister, Mary Shaul, Finksburg, Md.; 10 grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be
at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Joseph L. Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming
Ave., Forty Fort, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Name/St.
Mary’s Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made
to Hospice Community Care, 385 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.
