NewsNation To Host Town Hall With JD Vance

JD Vance will appear next week at a town hall hosted by NewsNation, with Chris Cuomo as moderator.

The event will air at 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 24 on NewsNation and it will be livestreamed exclusively on X. Viewers also will be able to submit questions beforehand on X.

  • Cuomo will moderate the event in Detroit before a studio audience of independents, Democrats and Republicans. NewsNation said that it will have editorial control of the event, and has also invited to participate in a similar event.

    After the town hall, Cuomo will anchor a two-hour edition of his show at 9 p.m., and that will be followed by an encore.

    The night before, CNN is hosting a town hall with Kamala Harris. Trump also has been invited to appear at his own town hall but has not accepted.

    In December, NewsNation hosted the final Republican primary debate before the Iowa caucuses. Trump did not participate in any of the primary debates during this cycle.
