Julia (Jule) Barnick, 88, of Hoyt Street, Pringle, died Monday, August 23,

Born in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Steve and
Anastasia (Gaido) Phillips and attended Hanover area schools. Prior to
retirement, she had been employed as a sales clerk at the former Boston Store,
of Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Barnick, in 1994;
brothers, Alex, Stephen, Peter, Frank and Michael; sisters Ana and Mary.

Surviving are brother, John Phillips, of Plymouth; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., from the Piszczek Funeral
Home, 70 East Main Street, Plymouth, with Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. from
the S.S. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church of Plymouth. Interment will be
in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Muhlenburg. Parastas Services will be Wednesday
evening at 7, at the funeral home. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6
to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
